Take Advantage of 5 Upcoming Auto Events

The summer might be coming to an end, and 2019 isn’t too far away. Though it might feel like things are winding down, the year isn’t over yet. If you haven’t been able to get away for an auto event until not, you’re still in luck as there are a number still available. Here are five exciting auto events you can attend around the country through the end of the year.

#1. Monterey Car Week

Though this one is coming to a close, if you’re in Monterey, California this weekend, August 25th and 26th mark the last days of country’s most celebrated sports car extravaganza. In Monterey you’ll be able to view a fabulous array of sports cars, races and auctions–this last giving you the opportunity to get your hands on over a thousand collector vehicles, provided you have the cash for it.

#2. Dead Mans Curve’s Wild Hot Rod Weekend

Great music and even greater cars can be found in Mahwah, New Jersey this Labor Day Weekend. The Dead Mans Curve Custom Machines Car Club is hosting a huge bash replete with celebrities, rock and roll and fun for the whole family. Of course, there will be cars too, with displays, swap meets, and vendors selling all forms of car-related equipment. It promises to be a loud and exciting four days.

#3. AACA Fall Meet at Hershey

Have some time off in October? From October 10th through the 13th, head to Hershey, Pennsylvania. Though the town is known for its chocolate headquarters, for four days the city serves as the setting for the Antique Automobile Club of America’s Fall Meet. Swap or buy antique cars, or just go to see some incredible vehicles.

And cars won’t be the only thing you can find there: if there are new or used parts you need for your dealership, the AACA Fall Meet is the place to go, as the will be pop up stalls offering all kinds of car necessities, at fantastic prices. There will also be an RM Sotheby’s auction over the meet, and although the primary focus will be American cars, there are a number of sports cars and imports to bid for, some for a steal.

#4. Central Florida International Auto Show

Need an activity for Thanksgiving weekend? Stop by the Central Florida International Auto Show. The show is being held from November 22nd through the 25th in at the Orange County Convention Center, and promises fun for the whole family, with children twelve and under allowed free admission. Browse and test drive more than 350 new cars and trucks from Toyota, Kia, Ford, Nissan and other industry leaders. There will be food available for purchase and the vehicles to see and nothing to lose!

#5. Las Vegas International Auto Show

Not on the East Coast? There’s a Thanksgiving Auto Show for you too. Go to the Las Vegas Convention Center any day between November 23rd and 25th to take a look at and test cars from all over the world. As in Florida, children under twelve can come free, and if you buy tickets online for the rest of the family, you can get a free Motor Trend magazine subscription.
