How Can Dealers Lower Their Healthcare Costs? – Keith Lemer & Veronica Verona

healthcare

Providing healthcare for a team can be expensive and a large part of any dealer’s expenses. So how do you ensure you’re getting the best rates, plans, and service provider? Today we’re talking about healthcare options and what dealers should be looking for with Keith Lemer, CEO of WellNet Healthcare and we’re also joined by Veronica Verona, Vice President of All Atlantic Benefits.

According to Verona, her dealer clients seem to be the most concerned with the overall uncertainty of the healthcare industry and the rise in cost. Dealers are also challenged by the lack of transparency especially when it comes to data. Not being able to view what employees are consuming often to leads to frustration for the dealer when renewal time comes around.

Dealers like DARCARS Automotive Group and King Auto, typically have been with healthcare providers like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, or Kaiser. At WellNet, Lemer asks dealers to consider overlaying a private sector, independent, solution that gives them the tools and flexibility to use the same doctors and pharmacies, while also eliminating inefficiencies. WellNet finds opportunities to cut down on overhead expenses and increase the dealers’ bottom line without compromising on care.

Keith Lemer is a successful entrepreneur and thought leader in the healthcare insurance space. In addition to his role as CEO of WellNet Healthcare, Lemer founded Healthcare Interactive and frequently lobbies on Capitol Hill for healthcare reform. He also sits on the board of directors of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and is a Trustee of The Federal City Council.

Prior to her role as All Atlantic Benefits’ Vice President, Veronica Verona was an advisor for MassMutual, where she specialized in wealth management. She then transitioned into the employee benefits space after five years and continued to grow as a benefits consultant.
