Volvo: Will customers upgrade their cars like smartphones?
Consumers like ordering new smartphones when the latest and greatest come out. According to the Detroit Free Press, Volvo is hoping to mimic smartphone subscriptions with the XC40 SUV. That means “Care by Volvo” leasing will allow owners to upgrade to a new vehicle every 12 months, set up their lease and arrange delivery online, and much more. The Detroit Free Press says deliveries will begin in April, and test drives will be available at dealerships in March of 2018. Watch Now
